The BioNanofluidics and Microfluidics Laboratory (BNML) at
Myongji University is now accepting applications for graduate
students for the 2026 Spring semester.
• Available programs: M.S.-Ph.D. combined or Ph.D. program
• Research areas: microfluidic nucleic acid analysis
- Digital polymerase chain reaction technology (dPCR)
- Hydrogel chemistry
- Rapid, accurate, disease diagnostics technology
• Eligibility requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Biomedical
Engineering, or related fields
- Proficiency in English (Minimum scores: TOEFL 530 (CBT 197,
iBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, or TEPS 600 (NEW TEPS 327)).
Exemptions may apply if the medium of instruction for previous
education was in English.

- Monthly stipend starting at 1,100,000 KRW for MS-Ph.D.
candidates and 1,150,000 KRW for Ph.D. applicants (stipend may
vary based on research experience)
