About the RPIK

Goals

• Conducting joint research with research institutes of Korea and outstanding overseas researchers and creating excellent research results through strengthening cooperative networks
• Providing verification opportunities through customized information and communication functions between research institutes of Korea who seek out outstanding overseas researchers and also outstanding overseas researchers who wish to research in Korea
• Strengthening the level and competency of internationalization of science and technology cooperation by creating an open research culture of research institutes of Korea
• Mutual verification between research institutes of Korea and overseas researchers in order to apply for Korea Research Fellowship program and Brain Pool (BP, BP+) Program.

Matching Process

• (Automatic Matching) Automatic matching and recommendation functions are provided based on the science and technology standard classification table from the time the membership is signed
• (Manual Matching) Matching of researchers and research institutes with similar interests as information scraped by overseas talent or research institutes in Korea
• (Selective Matching) Selective matching of overseas talent or domestic research institutes, such as job application, 1:1 query, etc. and improvement of accuracy of recommendations when recruitment / job search activities increase.
