• Work duties : Development of robotic intelligence and systems that enable autonomous execution of diverse high-level complex tasks

• Duties and responsibilities :
  - Development of the robitics platform and robotic intelligence

  - Immersive robot task teaching and planning based on teleoperation, AR, VR and so on

  - Recognition and decision-making for unstructured objects, tasks, and environments

  - Autonomous task intelligence based on multimodal information including language and vision

  - Robotic software frameworks for executing complex and precise tasks

  - Multimodal human-robot collaboration and communication

  - Integration and operation of robotic intelligence and robotic platforms

• Knowledge required :
  - Knowledge of recognition and decision-making algorithms based on artificial intelligence and machine learning

  - Knowledge of robotic hardware including kinematics, dynamics, and control engineering

  - Knowledge of multimodal information processing technologies such as natural language processing and computer vision

• Competencies required : Research paper and report writing skills, Communication and presentation skills, Problem solving ability, Fluency in English

• Employment period : From the date of appointment until December 31, 2027.

• Salary :
  - Minimum KRW 5,000,000/month ~ Maximum KRW 25,000,000/month

  - The salary level of the successful candidate’s previous institution or higher, will be guaranteed (including severance pay and employer contributions, subject to negotiation)

  - If there is no previous institution, salary will be determined in accordance with the institute’s regulations.

• Research Living Allowance : In addition to the salary, a monthly allowance of KRW 1,000,000 will be provided to support domestic living and settlement.

Requirements

• Eligibility : Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree and reside outside of Korea as of the employment start date.
• Not eligible

      - Those who are expected to obtain a Ph.D. degree after the employment start date

      - Those who are only on a temporary stay abroad

• Major : Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Preference : Research experience in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence (AI)
