Open postdoctoral and research professor positions will be available to study information and communication engineering including wireless communication, electromagnetics, radio frequency application, signal processing, physics.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Radio Communication laboratory of Professor Ic-Pyo, Hong at Kongju National University in South Korea. This lab belongs to the Smart Natural Space Center which was built for the research for multidisciplinary research such as the new building material, building structure, functional material including wireless applications.

Research in Laboratory focuses on the design of electromagnetic absorbers that use periodic structures such as metasurface and frequency selective surfaces to reduce the interference of wireless communications signals. In addition, we are carrying out various applications such as wireless charging system using periodic structure. One of the research areas is research on structural health monitoring using a radar in collaboration with the Architectural Engineering and Materials Engineering researchers.

In case of Post-doc or researchers. candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree at the time of employment. Expertise in related experiments (wireless communication, antenna design, numerical electromagnetics, microwave engineering, structural health monitoring, acoustics etc.) as well as programming skills is preferred but not required. Candidates with research experiences in different areas are also welcome.
