Description: In the Laboratory for Functional Materials and Applied Mechanics of Chung-Ang University, one postdoctoral position is available for one of the following research subjects: (1) Electroactive Polymer Sensors and Actuators, (2) Multifunctional Fibers via Thermal Drawing Method, and (3) Computational Study on Multiscale Phenomena in Solids. Eligibility/Requirements: The successful candidate should have completed a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Preference is given to candidates with an experimental background on electroactive polymer sensors and actuators. The successful candidate should enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment and be enthusiastic about research and collaborating with other members of the team. The candidate should demonstrate good communication skills.

 

Conditions of employment: The position is based on an employment contract of 1 year (12 months), and can be extended further. Competitive salary in accordance with level of expertise will be provided.
