Open Position : Postdoctoral position

We are looking for highly motivated postdocs.

Organization: BRL and BK21 Four Group, Pukyong National Univesity, Busan 48513, South Korea

1 or 2 seats in BRL(Basic Research Lab):

The BRL was an excellent research laboratory supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT in South Korea. The research title of the BRL is “Key Components of Underwater Internet of Things for Smart Aqua-farm”(Director: Prof. Wan-Young Chung).

1 seat in BK21(Brain Korea 21) :

The BK21 group was supported by the Ministry of Education in South Korea. The Research group for Artificial Intelligence Convergence includes 13 professors, around 30 graduate students. The main research topic is AI applications.

About the position:

Holders of a Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Science. There is no need for previous expertise in underwater IoT or communication. The candidate should have knowledge in one or more of the followings such as electronic circuit, sensors, sensor interface, signal processing in artificial intelligence, acoustic wave communication or visible light communication in Dept. of Electronics, Electrical Eng., Computer Sci. or Eng., Control and Communication Eng. other related areas. You will play a central role in the research team for the BRL project and BK21 Four (Fourth generation Brain Korea 21 Project) in each.

Salary planned in the project is 20,000,000~30,000,000 KW (with employment insurance and retirement allowance separately). An initial contract will be signed for one year and can be extended every year accordingly.
