First of all, we want to inform the new applicants that we have been quite successful in the ongoing work under the same program, in that the 2017 KRF fellow  has been actively involved in the computational material science, physics, and chemistry in my lab.

We have published many papers in ACS Nano, Small, J. Mat. Chem. A, etc for the cowork with a sophiscated experimental group in the area of electrochemical/photoelectrochemical hydrogen/CO2 reduction and secondary battery. You can contact with Dr. Debela at debelatt@gmail.com for that.

In addition, we have also published purely theoretical papers on the electronic structure and ferroelectricity of 2D materials as a cover article in J. Mat. Chem. C.

Postdoc position is available in the Theoretical Nano Materials & Energy Lab of Jeonju University, who can be involved in the theoretical and computational works in the field mentioned above for the current fellow.

We are looking for a motivated applicant who can work both independently and collaboratively. We will develop a proposal and apply for NRF fellowship.

Qualifications: PhD degree in physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or closely related fields, with a background in solid state or chemical physics. Previous experience with electronic structure calculations on the solid. Also required is  programming in V or other language..
